Sketchbook

In addition to working on a few painting I also started filling up a few sketchbooks. One is historical subjects while the other one are non historical ( for the most part ) in nature. I recently completed this drawing of Edgar Allen Poe, along with a few quotes. A few color studies and more sketchbook pages are on the way.

Well done pard. That Poe needs to be framed and sent to a certain Michigan address;)

lol. Haha, Thanks Jason. This sketchbook is 5 X 7 and will have more personalities in them with quotes.

That's fine, just have it double matted when framed, I'm not picky;)

That book is a gem already. You know Robert Crumb traded his "sketchbook" for a house in France. Just sayin'.

Thanks. Yeah, I remember that from the Crumb documentary. Thing is I'm NOT Robert Crumb. I might be able to trade it for a nice steak dinner though.
